Our Moderator: Lara Maric, real estate agent at Serhant

Our Speakers: 

• Sara Waters. She is a real estate investor outside of her 9 to 5 job. Sarah started her real estate investment journey during covid and now owns a portfolio of short term rentals. Her mission is to help educate women and allies on how real estate truly changes your life. She wants to demystify real estate hurdles, she never thought she could buy a home and 4 years later, she is the successful owner of 3 rentals and is running a profitable business all while working her 9-5 job.
• Marsha Fils:  She started her real estate investing journey house hacking while completing her MBA at Rutgers Business School during the pandemic. Today, she owns a portfolio of long term rentals and is always looking for creative ways to acquire more properties. As a first generation Haitian-American, Marsha is on a mission to build wealth through real estate and share her journey with overcoming mental obstacles with investing.
• Mark Zacharczyk. He is a private mortgage banker at Wells Fargo and has 20 years experience in that industry and in New-York city. He is a proud ally to women who want to grow in real estate investment and has his own investments as well in real estate. Mark believes that planning to buy is very important but there is no way to “wing” the market anymore. As interest rates are at high times high, he'll  share his perspective on mortgages and how people need to run the numbers to know if buying is a viable project or not.
