About the event
Our Body and Soul theme for February 15th, right after Valentine's Day, will be on "Opening the Heart" in a beautiful Manhattan high-ceilings showroom.
Julia (Personal trainer, Physiotherapist, Yoga and Pilates instructor), will guide you though a beautiful Hatha yoga sequence which will ground you into your body and help you access and open your heart. To ensure you are in proper alignment, Julia will personally help adjust and guide you to soften and relax into your body.
Vrin (Leadership & Mindfulness Coach) will be your guide to accessing your deeper heart. Beneath the fluctuations of varying emotions lies our heart that is filled with gratitude, kindness and compassion. She will lead you through a beautiful meditation done lying down after which we will conclude by raising our voices together through a sound healing experience.

Meet your Body & Soul Instructors:
Julia Lematais:
Julia is a seasoned personal trainer currently working at Equinox West 76th. She is also a physiotherapist, Pilates and yoga teacher, bringing over 15 years of expertise. Specializing in women's needs, including hormonal, pregnancy, menopausal considerations and many others, she collaborated with French surgeons while she was living in France a few years ago to support rehabilitation after breast cancer through physiotherapy, pilates, and yoga.
Her journey extends to partnerships with renowned cosmetic brands in France, where she has crafted beauty massage protocols and professional techniques. Julia has showcased these innovations at prestigious surgical conferences and hospitals, sharing her insights with journalists.
In addition to her professional pursuits, she is a published author with several books exploring beauty, wellness, and yoga.
Vrindavan (Vrin) Rao:
Vrin is a Leadership & Mindfulness Coach who specializes in helping individuals, parents, groups and teams to decrease their emotional reactivity and overcome self-sabotaging tendencies. She uses the framework of the Enneagram, yoga psychology and meditation practices to help others solve the question of, "Why do I get in my own way?".
Vrin is also a meditation teacher and has over 25 years of experience practicing and teaching nada yoga (the yoga of sound), japa yoga (the yoga of meditative mantra recitation) and kirtan yoga (mantra meditation to music).
